GAWP 2020 Phase-1


The GeoVillae initiating the Phase-1 of the Geography Optional Answer Writing Program 2020. The phase-1 starts on 20th October 2019 and ends on 28th Feb 2020. It is a 95 days program. The questions will be posted for 5 days in a week. The features of the program have been provided below.

Features of the GAWP.

  • The GAWP runs in two phases (and it is free).
  • Phase-I will run from 20th October 2019 to 28th February 2020, and Phase-II will be after prelims.
  • The program runs 5 days in a week and will be off on Saturday and Sunday (these two days can be used by aspirants for revision, to cover backlog syllabus etc.).
  • The geography syllabus is micro planned on a daily basis and questions are posted based on the syllabus of the day.
  • Daily 3 questions will be posted (morning before 9.00 am), and aspirants must write answers and requested to post them (either typed in the comment box or in the image, Docx, pdf etc format).
  • The synopsis for each question will be made available as per the administrative convenience.
  • The program also covers each and every question from the last 15 years.

Based on the need of examination and analysis of previous year questions the questions will be provided in the following format.

Question No. 1 will be for 10 marks

Example – Describe phreatic eruptions and their consequences. (2019)

Question No. 2 will be for 15 marks

Example – How are soil fertility and alkalinity are related to soil fertility? (2019)

Question No. 3 will be for 20 marks

Example – “The web of life is seamless and consequences of disruption to one part of the ecosystem ripple throughout the whole”. Elaborate. (2019)
