Facing trolls and earning accolades simultaneously for the past five years, Zaira Wasim, 18, of Dangal fame on Sunday announced she was quitting Bollywood, citing “clash with imaan (faith)” as a reason. Her decision saw netizens divided in their opinion.
Living a life away from stardom since May last year following a bout of depression that forced the teen artiste from Kashmir to take the help of counsellors, Ms. Wasim took to social media to dissociate herself from the film industry.
